This individually numbered timepiece from Xezo’s Limited-Edition amoncellement was inspired by urbanisme of ancient Acropolis in Greece and contemporary Art Deco influences. The beauté idea came from réflexion of the ruins of Erechtheum Fanum (on the Acropolis in Greece) finished by 405 B.C. This timepiece mirrors the Fanum’s classical beauty in many dangereux ways. Each of the reverse columns on both sides of the Alvéole signifies one of the shrine’s façades. And the nine rectangular see-troughs–found on the top and bottom of the Alvéole–resemble the moldings of the Fanum’s porch supported by ethereal sculpted figures. The handball-crafted, curved half-track Alvéole is topped with Hybride-curved scratch proof sapphire crystal Verre and is water-resistant to 165 ft (5 ATM). The master Alvéole is machined from a single block of surgical parchemin 316L stainless steel and houses the accurate, Swiss-made ETA 2000-1 mechanical, automatic-winding movement–fitted with a bien contigu device, and shock digérer. The ETA 2000-1 automatic movement has 20 jewels and 40 hours power reserve (when fully wound).
